So far I've done a good job of not overwhelming this site with pictures of my guineas, But I just couldn't leave them out! Meet Harry, Sundae, and Spaz!Harry is an 8 month old Sheltie boar. I bought him from a pet shop where he was in a 30 gallon aquarium with about 8 other pigs. It was crowded, there was only one small sipper tube, and their pellets had tons of bedding in them. My husband picked him out, saying he looked like a little lion!
Sundae is an Abby mix sow. She is around 6 months old. Her mother and father were rescued by the Humane Society from conditions that were only described to me as 'deplorable'. Their mother was pregnant when rescued, I can only imagine what would have happened to her and her siblings if left where they were.
Spaz is another half Abby sow. We adopted her the same time we did Sundae. She is around 4 months old and is the result of an accidental breeding while in the Humane Societies care. The sexes weren't seperated properly and her mother became pregnant. None of Spaz's siblings survived.
Porkchop came to live with us on my Birthday, June 4, 2002. He was a pet shop buy, which of course I don't reccomend, but who could resist such a little charmer?
